Valent (“Valent”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates the website at valentprocure.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through the Site and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Personal data we process when providing the Valent platform to customers is governed by our agreement with each customer, not by this policy.

We keep the data we collect to a minimum:

• Information you send us. When you use the contact form (“Talk to our team”) or email us, we receive your name, email address, company if you give it, and whatever you write in your message.
• Technical data. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider automatically records standard server log data such as your IP address, browser type, device, referring page and the time of your request. This is used to deliver the Site and keep it secure.

The Site has no accounts or sign-up, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data.

The Site does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics, and its fonts and media are served from our own hosting rather than third-party networks. If we introduce analytics or cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

We use personal data to:

• respond to your enquiries and hold business conversations;
• operate, maintain and secure the Site;

• service providers who act on our behalf, such as our website host and the email delivery service that sends contact-form messages to our inbox (Resend), under obligations to protect it;

We are based in the United States and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and maintain our business relationship, and server logs for a limited period set by our hosting provider. We then delete or anonymise the data, unless we must keep it longer by law.

The Site is served over HTTPS, and we use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. California residents may also request to know what personal information we collect and ask us to delete it; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
